Parent Education
We provide initial training sessions to teach parents specific strategies tailored to their child's needs.
Parents learn essential techniques for handling and supporting their child's development.
Our program focuses on developing a range of crucial skills to support each child's overall growth:
Activities to enhance observational learning through imitation.
Exercises to improve both physical movements and vocal expressions.
Teaching children to request preferred activities and items.
Training in responding to instructions from others.
Helping children label objects in their environment.
Developing basic intraverbal skills for simple conversational exchanges.
Activities such as sorting and matching to improve cognitive abilities.
Tasks designed to enhance attention to detail and categorization skills.
Encouraging eye contact and social interaction in group settings.
Teaching turn-taking and cooperative play.
Increasing tolerance for sitting and participating in group activities.
Daily group activities and skill-building exercises.
Interactive and cooperative learning experiences.
After the group session, parents work one-on-one with their child in our facility.
Parents apply the strategies they have learned, with assistance from the therapist.
This hands-on approach helps parents gain confidence and competence in supporting their child's development.
